Arrived safe and sound!

So it was a long, long day.....We started early from a hotel close to the airport at 2:30 am. I find it difficult for an old dude like me, but I managed to keep up with the young folks- right Bev?

We landed in the DR late in the day and then braved rush hour traffic for about an hour to get out of the city in a crowded bus. 

We got a chance to see the ocean before we headed inland:

We finished our supper at 9:30 pm and are heading off to bed soon.....no shower for the travellers. It is broken until tomorrow.
