First day on clinicals

First day of stage was great, it was nice to see so many smiling faces. I picked up a lot more Spanish as well. 

we went to a clinic high in the mountains called La China (shee-na). 

And let me tell you... The drive up there in the back of a pick up going up hill and down on washed out roads and thru rivers and herds of goats and chicken was pretty terrifying, I felt like I was on a safari!!  

I was on the parasite medication table!
